If you operate a retail, hospitality, food service, floral or fresh produce business, you may require a Buyer's Pass to access Sydney Markets during wholesale trading hours.
Sydney Markets is Australia's largest wholesale fruit, vegetable and flower market, supplying businesses across NSW and the ACT.
A Buyer's Pass provides authorised access to the Produce Market, Growers Market and Flower Market at Flemington.
Who Needs a Buyer's Pass?
You may require a Buyer's Pass if you purchase fresh produce or flowers for commercial use.

General public access is available outside wholesale trading hours.
General Trading Area Pass
The General Trading Area Pass provides access to the Sydney Produce Market, Growers Market and Banana Market during wholesale trading hours.
This pass is suitable for fruit and vegetable buyers, retailers, food service operators and hospitality businesses.
Flower Market Pass
The Flower Market Pass provides access to the Sydney Flower Market during wholesale trading hours.
This pass is suitable for florists, event stylists, flower resellers and floral businesses.
Combined Pass
A Combined Pass provides access to both the General Trading Area and the Flower Market.
This pass is suitable for businesses purchasing both fresh produce and flowers.
A General Trading Area Pass provides access to the Sydney Growers Market in Building D, Sydney Produce Market in Buildings A, B and C, and the Banana Market in Building E.
Wholesale access is available from 3.00am on Monday and Friday, and from 4.00am on Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday.
A Flower Market Pass provides access to the Sydney Flower Market in Building F.
Wholesale access is available from 5.00am Monday to Friday.
No. Access to the Sydney Growers Market, Sydney Produce Market and Banana Market during restricted Monday to Friday wholesale trading hours is limited to registered Buyer's Pass holders.
Members of the public are encouraged to shop at Paddy's Markets Flemington in Building D every Friday, Saturday and Sunday.
Buyer's Pass Pricing
Current prices for 2025 to 2026:
- General Trading Area Pass: $63.80 including GST
- Flower Market Pass: $36.90 including GST
- Combined Pass: $100.70 including GST
Passes are valid for the financial year from July to June. For example, a pass registered in December 2025 expires on 30 June 2026.
How to Apply
Applications are completed online at www.smlbuyershub.com.au.
Please have your business details and credit card ready for secure payment.
Once your application is submitted, you will receive an email invoice and collection instructions. If you do not receive the email, please check your spam or junk folder.
General Trading Area or Combined Pass: Collect from Market Central, in front of Building B on Centre Road. Market Central is open Monday to Friday from 4.00am to 9.00am.
Flower Market Pass: Collect from the Flower Market office in Building F. The office is open Monday to Friday from 5.00am to 9.00am.
Please bring personal identification, such as a driver's licence or passport, and your Sydney Markets email invoice as proof of payment. Your photo will be taken onsite for your pass.
The renewal process is the same as the initial registration.

No. A Buyer's Pass is issued to an approved person and business only.
It cannot be shared, transferred or used by another person.
No. A Buyer's Pass does not include Sydney Markets parking permits or daily casual entry fees.
If you require a parking permit, please visit the Cashiers Office in Building D.
