Public Liability Insurance is required with all applications. Your certificate of currency must name Sydney Markets Limited as an indemnified or interested party where applicable. Minimum cover levels by production type:

Review the requirements
Confirm your production type, preferred date, location needs and insurance cover before completing the application.
Submit your application
Provide production details, crew numbers, access times, vehicle information and public liability insurance documentation.
Receive an outcome
Once assessed, our team will contact you with an outcome and quote.
Key responsibilities
Sydney Markets is an active operational site. These requirements help protect your crew, our tenants, our customers and the integrity of Sydney Markets.
Report to the Control Centre
All crew must report to the Control Centre on Austin Avenue to obtain a media visitor pass before entering the site. Passes must be worn at all times.
Follow safety directions
Production personnel must wear hi-vis safety vests and follow all directions from Sydney Markets Operations staff while on site.
Maintain normal access
Access for motorists, pedestrians, tenants and customers must be maintained unless a specific filming arrangement has been approved.
Leave the location clean
The location must be left clean and tidy. Props, rigging, materials and directional signs must be removed when filming is complete.
Complete WHS induction
All crew must complete the online WHS induction before attending site at sydneymarkets.com.au/safety-awareness.
Use approved market names
Any on-screen references must use correct approved names, including Sydney Markets, Sydney Produce Market, Sydney Flower Market and Paddy's Markets where applicable.
Respect tenants and customers
The production company must reasonably accommodate tenants and customers affected by the production and comply with all conditions in Sydney Markets Limited's approval.
Submit footage for approval
All footage must be provided to Sydney Markets Limited for review and approval prior to publication. Sydney Markets Limited expressly reserves the right to reject any material that it reasonably considers to contravene its intellectual property rights, privacy obligations, or any other legal or regulatory requirements.
